The contrast between a low pressure system to our south and higher pressure to our north will create a strong eastsoutheasterly airflow over Malta and Gozo from Wednesday afternoon till early Thursday.
The wind is expected to be Force 8 at times gusting Force 9 to 10 from an eastsoutheasterly direction with wave heights over 5 metres high from an easterly direction!
Some slight damage may occur, especially on hilltops and in exposed areas. The Gozo Channel ferry service may be temporarily disrupted.
