A trough of low pressure moving across Italy tomorrow is expected to bring some with rain showers over the Maltese Islands and these may be thundery at times.
Tomorrow Saturday the wind will increase to strong Force 6 to 7 northwesterly winds gusting to Force 8 at times. Wave heights are expected to be around 3.5 metres high from a northwesterly direction. However, the Gozo ferry service will not be affected.
