The contrast between a low pressure system moving across Italy and higher pressure over northern Africa will create strong winds and rough seas over the Maltese Islands from late tomorrow Tuesday till early Wednesday.
For the Maltese Islands this means strong Force 7 northwesterly winds (gusting Force 8 to 9) from 9pm tomorrow Tuesday till 6am on Wednesday with maximum significant wave heights of around 5 metres from a northwesterly direction. The Gozo ferry service is NOT expected to be disrupted and some isolated rain showers are also possible over the next few days.
