A cold front passing over the Maltese Islands might produce some isolated rain showers over the next 24 hours with a slight chance of some lightning but the next potential storm is pencilled in for next Sunday when a low pressure system is expected to penetrate the central Mediterranean (see inside red circle on top image). Temperatures are also expected to decrease gradually over the next 2 weeks.
