Take care if you intend to stay in the sun today

ghajn tuffieha Elena TibukyOur jellyfish map for today is updated but check it again before you leave for the beach! The jellyfish map may be seen at http://www.maltaweathersite.com/jellymap.asp. The orange markers indicate safe beaches. Please LIKE and SHARE for everyone to know.

Also take care if you intend to stay in the sun as the UV index is 8 today! This indicates a very high risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure. Minimize sun exposure during midday hours, from 10am to 4pm. Otherwise, seek shade, cover up, wear a hat and sunglasses, and use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

Today’s high is expected to reach 30°C with a real-feel of 33°C. The sea temperature is 26°C.

A big thanks to Elena Tibuky for this lovely photo of Paradise Bay. This place should be safe to swim in today.
