Take care if you intend to stay in the sun today

rinella benny scerriOur jellyfish map for TODAY Wednesday is updated but check it again before you head for the beach! The jellyfish map may be seen at http://www.maltaweathersite.com/jellymap.asp. The orange markers indicate safe beaches. Please LIKE and SHARE for everyone to know.

Today’s high is expected to reach 32°C with a real-feel of 37°C due to the high humidity. The sea temperature is 27°C.

Also take care if you intend to stay in the sun as the UV index is 9 today! This indicates a very high risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure. Minimize sun exposure during midday hours, from 10am to 4pm. Otherwise, seek shade, cover up, wear a hat and sunglasses, and use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

A big thanks to Benny Scerri for this lovely photo taken at Rinella Bay yesterday. This place should be safe to swim in today.
