THUNDERSTORMS UPDATE! Please LIKE & SHARE for others too!
Some isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected to be close to the Maltese Islands on Friday and one may hit us (see inside red circle on upper image). If it does it should just be a modest storm with light, occasionally moderate, rainfall.
However, the BIG BAD guys arrive on Sunday with rain showers, possibly heavy and thundery at times, with flooding possible in the usual low-lying areas. This bad weather is expected to last quite a good number of days as a cold pool is likely to remain stationary over the central Mediterranean.
These storms will bring temperatures down with highs of ‘only’ 26°C to 27°C and lows down to 19°C. Things are still a bit uncertain though, particularly as to the rainfall totals expected, but we will keep you informed as usual.
