Rain and lightning now closer to the Maltese Islands (see inside red circle on EUMETSAT rainfall estimate image) but this particular storm is getting weaker and all we can possibly expect is some residual rain. Further updates later.

The thunderstorm inside the red circle could be heading towards the Maltese Islands. We doubt it will survive as a thunderstorm by the time it reaches us but some residual rain is definitely possible. We will keep you posted.
